| Small Carry Bags |

Nu Bags are made from lightweight 70d ripstop nylon, its tough, its durable and its easy to care for. Its also easy to pack so we give you 3 bags in a small carry bag that clips right to your shopping cart with the included carabineer. Each bag is 15"h x 14"w x 5"d and can hold 45lbs. We estimate each bag can carry at least double what you get in a standard plastic shopping bag from the store. The tote bag is 9"h x 7"w, has a velcro closure at the top and carabineer for attaching the bags to your shopping cart, bag, backpack etc....The bags are currently available in Red, Blue, Navy and Hunter Green and we are adding more colors all the time so check back for new colors and styles.

How you use them is up to you, but we've put a little thought into it and here is what we've come up with:
1. Keep a set in each car that goes to the store, that way you always have a set handy.
2. Grab them on your way into the store, clip them on your cart and away you go, they are out of the way and not taking up valuable cart space. Always clip them with the logo facing out so other shoppers can get the name!
3. When you get to checkout, flip the pouch to the bagger (if your store still has baggers) when he/she asks if you want paper or plastic.
4. When you get home grab all 3 in one trip and marvel at the ease and comfort made possible by our webbed handles.
5. When you are done putting away the groceries, rinse with cold water and air dry if necessary, otherwise, shove them back into the carrying pouch and take them back out to the car.

Nu Bags vs. the competition
|

These days, you have a lot of choices when it comes to reusable bags. In the long run, this is a good thing because more options means less plastic bags. We think Nu Bags have some distinct advantages over the bag you will most often see in the grocery store; the one with the store's name on it.
Size - While Nu Bags and the store bags are of comparable size, you'll notice that the store brand maintains 2 of its 3 dimensions when its not in use. This means it takes up a lot of space in the shopping cart, in your car or under your sink, think about what a pain it is to store paper bags, these bags have about the same footprint. Nu Bags, on the other hand, just get rolled up and stuffed into their carry sack, so a full set of Nu Bags takes up about 1/3 the space of a single store brand bag when not in use. Edge: Nu Bags
Material - The store brand bags are made of a woven polyethylene material, its soft to the touch, can be printed on and is very durable. The downside is the material is not conducive to packing and must be hand washed if it gets dirty (can you say spilled milk or raw chicken juice? Not fun to hand wash). Nu Bags are made of lightweight 70d ripstop nylon, the type of material used for tents, kites, climbing backpacks, sleeping bags etc...in short, this fabric isn't wimpy. Its tough and its easy to pack. It can also be machine washed in cold water and air dried when it gets dirty. It doesn't hold water so it dries super fast. Edge: Nu Bags
Ease of Use - Store brand bags are designed for one person's ease of use - the bagger! Think about it, they are the exact size of the bag platform at the end of the checkout lane, they stand up and open on their own, their function is to make it easy for the bagger to load the groceries, if its easy, the bagger is faster, if he/she is faster, he/she is more efficient, if he/she is more efficient, then money spent is maximized, you know how it works, its basic business stuff. Never mind the fact that these bags don't stack on each other very well because of there wide tops and the shorter handles make them more difficult for you the customer to carry. Nu Bags are designed for you, comfortable handles, stackable in the cart and the car, easy to carry multiple bags at one time etc..sure it may be a little harder for the bagger to bag your groceries, but what's more important: easier for you or easy for them? Other Uses - Store brand bags are pretty much limited to the grocery store because of their size and shape. Nu Bags can go anywhere and hold just about anything. Over the course of our R&D, we've used Nu Bags as gear bags for camping, shopping at the mall, shopping at home improvement stores, toting things to and from work, hauling tools and parts to and from job sites, carry-on bag for air travel, just about anything. The great thing about Nu Bags is that you can always grab one and throw it in a purse, a handbag, a backpack etc... and have an excellent utility bag at the ready. If you keep them in your car like we do, you always have shopping bags; its just a matter of training yourself to grab them when you get out of the car.
